When your smoke detectors but there is no fire or smoke, here's how to reset them.
Sometimes, smoke detectors can go off from cooking, or even from humidity.
To reset your smoke detectors, find the large button.
Press this profoundly, and hold until it resets. (If you are short, you can use the handle of a broom or mop).
When it resets, it will cycle through all the possible verbiage (ie, it will say each command it knows, like "warning, fire" and "warning, carbon monoxide". This does not mean the warning is applicable at this moment - it is just resetting.
Let us know if you believe there is a larger issue, for example if the smoke detector went off but you weren't cooking.
